AN ONGOING SOMATIC PRACTICE SPACE

Reclaiming Home is a slow, living, body-centred community space. A place to return, to build relationship with your body, to practice listening. Created for all bodies whose nervous systems have been shaped by the complexity and demands of these times. A space to tend what allows you to live in your fullness with more trust, capacity, and care.

This isn’t a course to complete or a program to fix yourself. It’s an ongoing invitation into embodied presence, nervous-system resourcing, and gentle, relational practice - shaped by the seasons, by monthly themes, and by the bodies who gather.

THIS SPACE MAY BE FOR YOU IF…

✨ You’d love to feel more at home in your body, and you’re longing for a relationship with yourself that feels gentler, kinder, and more supportive.

✨ You live with chronic illness, pain, fatigue, sensitivity, or nervous-system overwhelm, and you want a space that truly understands pacing, fluctuation, and the realities of living in a sensitive or strained system.

✨ You’re curious about somatics and embodied practice, or you’ve already been exploring, and you feel drawn to going deeper in a way that’s spacious rather than demanding.

✨ You know these practices help you, but you find it hard to sustain them on your own, and you’re excited about the possibility of practicing in a shared, supportive, relational field.

✨ You want to build resourcing skills for challenging personal and collective times, and you’re looking for practices that support your nervous system rather than asking more of it.

✨ You’re craving gentle community, consistency, and the feeling of not doing this alone - of being alongside other humans who are also tending their relationship with their bodies and inner worlds.

✨ You want a space that’s non-prescriptive, inclusive, and capacity-aware, where difference is expected, rest is welcome, and your experience is respected.

Reclaiming Home is a monthly-themed, ongoing somatic practice community for people longing to build a more trusting, tender relationship with their bodies, and explore embodied practice in a way that’s gentle, inclusive, and rooted in lived reality.

People arrive here from many places. Some are new to somatics and curious to begin. Some have already been exploring and are craving continuity and depth. Others live with chronic illness, pain, fatigue, or nervous-system sensitivity, and are looking for a space that truly understands pacing, fluctuation
and care.

Inside Reclaiming Home, we gather to explore:

  • gentle somatic and nervous-system-sensitive movement and stillness

  • sensing, breath, rest, and embodied enquiry

  • creative, mythic, ecological and relational approaches to the body

  • practices that can meet a wide range of bodies, identities, energies, and capacities

Each month opens a new doorway. Over time, these doorways weave into a wider embodied language - one that supports you to orient toward yourself with more trust, nuance, and care.

This work supports a slow shift from doing-it-alone toward being-with.
From managing the body toward relating with your body as companion.
From knowing somatic practice helps, toward letting it take root in daily life.

A gradual, cumulative process of expanding capacity, restoring contact, and coming home.

WHY RECLAIMING HOME EXISTS

We’re not living in simple conditions. Our nervous systems are constantly shaped and reshaped not only by our personal histories, but by our collective, cultural, and ecological realities. Many of us live with ongoing strain, moving through the world bracing and overriding, or soul-tired and disconnected.

This space exists to support a different way of being. One that centres capacity rather than performance, rhythm not demand, and relationship over fixing. This isn’t about ‘controlling’ or bypassing our stress responses, but instead gently practicing how we can encourage our systems towards greater complexity - restoring movement, contact, and inner support so we can live with more responsiveness and choice.

A PERSONAL NOTE…

I come to this work as someone who’s spent years learning how to live alongside my own sensitive nervous system. (and it’s still very much a living practice) As a neurodivergent human, I’ve often walked the line between pushing through in spaces like these and quietly making myself wrong for not “enjoying” practices, conversations or community in the ways I thought I should.

Reclaiming Home is born from that lived experience. It’s a dear invitation into building an intimate, trusting relationship with your needs - wherever you find yourself on the shifting landscape of capacity, energy and resilience.

My hope is that this space supports you to stay close to yourself, to honour what’s true and tender, and to let care grow from that place. I deeply believe that when we’re resourced and supported enough to listen to our own bodies and needs, something ripples outward - into our relationships, our communities, and the collective care we offer the world.

THE RHYTHM OF OUR MONTH

Reclaiming Home has a gentle, spacious rhythm. You’re invited to gather for three Tuesdays a month at 10am UK. While every theme unfolds a little differently, there’s a familiar shape that supports continuity, trust, and depth over time.

Week 1 - Exploration call
Our first 90-minute session opens the month’s theme. We’ll begin with some accessible, easily digestible learning and reflection, and then move into practice. These sessions always include movement, sensing, and embodied exploration. This is a space to arrive, orient, and begin listening into the month together.

Week 2 - Practice call
Our second 75-minute movement session is about deepening. This is a longer, more immersive embodiment space. Bodies first. Language optional. Drawing from authentic movement, sensory awareness, improvisation, and somatic practice, this is a guided session designed with accessibility and nervous-system care in mind. You’re invited to play, explore, rest, sense, and meet yourself exactly where you are.

Week 3 - No live call, but an invitation to deepen our community
Outside of our live sessions, there’s an ongoing community space to stay connected. Here you’ll find shared resources and occasional additional practice invitations. This is also where you can connect with fellow members, reflect together, or simply be alongside one another. This is where the quieter threads of community tend to weave.

Week 4 - Coaching call
In our final session of the month, we gather for 90 minutes of conversational coaching. This is a place to speak into what’s been emerging - revelations, questions, sticky points, shifts, or simply the desire to deepen our togetherness. Imagine blankets, cosy nooks, and plenty of lounging. A soft closing to the month before we begin again.

OUR CULTURE AND HOW THIS SPACE IS HELD

Click on the headings below to read more :)

  • Reclaiming Home is a space where you are invited to show up in whatever way is most supportive to you.

This might mean having your camera off. It might mean lying in bed, sitting, moving very little, or simply listening. At different times you may want to speak, write in the chat, or quietly witness what’s unfolding. There are many ways to be here, and none of them are more valued than another.

Sometimes you may feel resourced to connect. Other times you may want to stay close to yourself. Both belong.

You’re always in choice with how visible you are, how you move, how you participate, and how much you share. This space is shaped to support psychological safety, nervous-system pacing, and respect for difference.

  • I’m not here in the role of expert to tell you what to do. I’m here as a facilitator and guide, accompanying your exploration.

Reclaiming Home is rooted in personal discernment. There is no “right” way to approach a practice - only what feels true, supportive, or meaningful in your own body.

If something I offer doesn’t resonate, you’re welcome to leave it. If resistance arises, it’s not something to overcome, but something to listen to. I invite you to unsubscribe from the idea that growth comes from pushing through pain, discomfort, or overwhelm.

Your body is not a problem to be solved. Your body is the authority.

  • This work centres connection and exploration rather than diagnosing, fixing, or interpreting.

Our practice spaces are invitations to meet each month’s theme in your body - through sensing, noticing, movement, stillness, imagination, and creative enquiry. There is no goal to achieve and no experience to perform.

We’re cultivating relationship: with sensation, with your nervous system, with inner landscapes, and with one another.

Rather than trying to understand the body from the outside, we practice being with it from the inside.

  • This space is held with an awareness of how capitalism, colonisation, white supremacy, and power-over systems live in bodies, shaping our nervous systems, our health, and our sense of belonging.

Somatic practices arise from the embodied wisdom of countless Indigenous and ancestral lineages, despite their widespread repackaging and commodification. This work is offered with respect for those roots and with a commitment to ongoing learning, unlearning, and accountability.

Reclaiming Home does not promise fixing or curing. It offers a space to build relationship, capacity, and discernment - in service of more sustainable, connected, and equitable ways of being with ourselves, each other, and the living world.

  • This community welcomes people across identities, bodies, histories, and lived realities.

We recognise that each person’s relationship to their body is shaped by personal, social, political, and historical contexts. Our differences are not an inconvenience - they enrich and widen what becomes possible.

Reclaiming Home is co-created. Feedback is welcome. Care is relational. Safety is something we tend together, over time, through listening, repair, and mutual respect.

WHAT PATRICIPANTS ARE SAYING

“Reclaiming Home is literally the cosiest corner of the internet I know. I love watching the women in this space, with their mugs of tea and blankets, with their knitting and window-gazing, with their unfiltered, inside-out shares.

I love it because it feels like I’m witnessing the epitome of that Mary Oliver line, “let the soft animal of your body love what it loves”. Sara has a way of casting gentle spells, where time slows, bodies soften, and the sacred feels everyday again.

— Christina

“Sara is a wonderful facilitator, holding space for each of us with such empathy and compassion. I’ve really appreciated the ways she encourages us to show up exactly as we are, honouring our individual experiences and needs, while also nurturing a sense of common humanity within the group and beyond.

There is so much knowledge, passion, and genuine love of learning woven through the space. The monthly themes have had real depth and richness, and they’re explored through creative, playful, and accessible practices, always through the lens of honouring our bodies and nervous systems. I would wholeheartedly recommend this group”

— Megan

“What’s surprised me most about Reclaiming Home is the depth of the enquiry. Through seemingly simple movement practices Sara craftfully guides you through the innermost explorations.

For me it’s been a practice of deep listening and honing trust. It’s been playful and insightful, nourishing and expansive, and an incredibly compassionate container to experiment in.”

— Esther
