But maybe now more than ever we need to practice the things that bring us back to centre.
So we can re:source the power to hold ourselves and our loved ones.
So we can keep offering our help to those in need,
So we can stand up and be counted.

Embodied resource is a concept that centers around nurturing an innate sense of strength, resilience, and vitality.
It embodies a state of being where you cultivate a deep connection with your body, mind, and spirit, harnessing inner resources to navigate life's challenges with grace and resilience.
Embodied resource refers to the embodiment of personal strength and resilience found within the physical, emotional, and energetic dimensions of your whole being.
A resourced body is a nervous system that is flexible, and able to move with the waves of life, to experience activation or trigger, and allow the process to move through the body and nervous system and return to regulation, rather than staying stuck in dysregulation.
How to help clients access, trust, and anchor, their core resources for navigating difficult or emotional situations.
How to support clients to reduce stress and chaos by growing their capacity to ‘be with’ uncomfortable feelings, engage their ‘inner witness,’ and listen to their body’s messages
Mind-Body Connection: At the heart of embodied resource lies a profound connection between the mind and body. It involves being attuned to bodily sensations, emotions, and thought patterns, fostering a deeper understanding of yourself.
Self-Awareness and Self-Compassion: Cultivating self-awareness allows individuals to recognise their strengths, limitations, and triggers. Combined with self-compassion, it enables one to embrace imperfections and navigate challenges with kindness and understanding.
Resilience and Adaptability: Embodying resourcefulness fosters resilience—the ability to bounce back from adversity and adapt to changing circumstances. It involves tapping into inner strengths and coping mechanisms during times of stress or difficulty.
Presence and Grounding: Embracing embodied resource involves grounding yourself in the present moment. It allows you to draw strength from your inner core, fostering a sense of stability and presence amidst life's fluctuations.
Tend is a 7-week group programme that will help you understand your stress patterns & responses and your body’s reactions through a compassionate and kind lens.
I deeply love this work and created Tend because, for a long time, I lived my life headfirst and bypassed my body.
As someone who’s experienced burnout and lived through acute trauma, learning to compassionately welcome all parts of myself and speak my body's language has changed my life, and I don't say that lightly.
Tend’s nurturing community will give you the practical tools to navigate away from stress and intensity and offer a place to relearn supportive ways of being with your body.
“This 'work' has been transformative because it brings a deeper knowing of what is going in my body and marries it with the complexities of life. I’m Sara, a somatic coach and embodiment practitioner
I coach women to create a loving relationship with themselves, awaken their strength and wisdom and feel at home in their bodies.
I love the work I do because this is my work too. For a long time, I lived my life headfirst and bypassed my body. Learning to compassionately welcome all parts of myself and speak my body's language has changed my life, and I don't say that lightly.
Now, I use my training, education and experience to help women get closer to themselves and unpack the layers of habits and conditioning, so they can hear what their body is telling them and embody the changes they long to make.

Outside of the weekly calls there isn’t really a time commitment - however to get the most out of the course I’d recommend setting aside some time each day to connect with a resourcing practice and/or review the weekly materials.
