I help people navigating challenging life events to reconnect with their body, rebuild self trust, and rediscover a sense of possibility.
Imagine with me for a moment,
That sense you have in your body when you’ve got your own back.
A feeling of steadiness and support from deep within.
Maybe it arrives with the sensation of weight or groundedness in your belly or legs, the felt sense of gravity.
You’re in touch with your innate strength, yet you remain flexible and resilient, connected to your aliveness.
You’re anchored in the knowledge that whatever life throws your way, you won’t abandon yourself when the seas get rough.
Going through life's difficult times can feel like being tumbled around in stormy seas
Perhaps you’re frustrated by the never-ending symptoms of chronic illness, deeply fatigued and longing for more capacity.
Maybe the 3am wakings are becoming a nightly occurrence, you feel jumpy and tense, and the hum of anxiety is ever-present.
You’re constantly triggered, flooded with big, big feelings that don’t feel like ‘you’ - it’s exhausting, and you long to have more energy for life and the things you love.
Or you’re losing yourself in overthinking and living from your head. You want to stop overriding your needs and feeling disconnected from your body.
You know there’s ‘more’ to life, an impulse that’s pulling you to expand and evolve, but it feels achingly out of reach.
“This work is gentle and accessible, yet so powerful. The knowledge I’ve gained has given me huge insight into my nervous system responses, helping me understand the nuances of what I need when under stress. It’s self-care at it’s most foundational level: somatic awareness, self-worth, boundaries, ability to build capacity for the full spectrum of human emotions.”

Your body is a voice worth listening to
This is something I’ve come to know in my own life, and it’s at the heart of everything I do. I’m a little bit obsessed with how we find our way home to ourselves again and again - in all our messy, shape-shifting humanness.
I’m here to help you navigate the sticky moments when the steady ground feels far away. The times when you need to reconnect to life’s sense of possibility and aliveness.
In these moments (and all moments) your body can be a powerful ally; a well of resources, a soft place to land and your anchor to be here now.
I can walk alongside you as you navigate the things that feel hard to hold alone, helping you understand your body’s unique language so you can confidently reach where you want to go, trusting the way forward every step.
"If there’s one thing our personal and collective healing requires, I’d say it’s expanding our capacity to feel. With the heartbreak of world events, and a huge life transition on the horizon, I knew I’d need help with this! Leaning into pain is like facing a towering wave just before it breaks. The instinct is to turn around and leg-it back to shore. To not look, not feel, not speak up. Through our sessions, Sara swam out into the water with me. In the gentlest of ways, she showed me how to stay in the water, how to be with the intensity, how to ride the wave. Sara expanded my capacity to feel, and in doing so, expanded my humanity."

Is this what I need right now?
People come to this work from many different places. Sometimes it's one of those stormy seasons - a difficult transition, a relationship that's become hard to hold, a body that's been asking for attention for longer than you'd like to admit.
And sometimes it's something quieter: a sense of being on the edge of something, a pull towards more aliveness, more authenticity, more of what you're actually here for. A desire to understand yourself more fully, to bring more intention and creativity to how you live, to close the gap between who you are and how you're showing up.
Whatever brings you here, the body is always part of the conversation.
Over time, something begins to shift. Your nervous system, that’s been working overtime to keep you safe, starts to find more room - more capacity for the difficult moments, the daily stressors, the full texture of being human. Patterns that have been quietly shaping your choices, your relationships, how you show up, begin to come into view.
With that visibility comes real choice. Past experiences that have been held in the body begin to find more integration, loosening some of the grip they've had on your present.
Cycles of intensity and crash soften. Rest becomes something the system can actually receive. Ease and steadiness become more frequent.
And slowly, more of who you are - your authenticity, your aliveness, your trust in yourself - begins to have more room to breathe.
What might change?
Sara is a constant, supportive and steadying presence and a gifted coach who creates space for you to work at your own pace. I always looked forward to sessions, knowing that she would meet me where I was (in terms of energy or intentions) on that particular day. I also appreciated the in-between support via Voxer and knowing that I had the resources (workshops, meditations, workbooks etc) to refer back to in the long term. In our time together she's given me many new tools that I'm weaving into my daily life, plus more confidence in the power of my intuition and embodiment.

What is Somatic Coaching?
Somatic coaching is a relationship that trusts in your capacity to grow - one that supports change not just in how you think, but in how you live and feel from the inside out.
The word somatic simply means the living body in all its wholeness. Working this way means bringing the body into the conversation: the felt sense, the impulses, the way your system holds what your mind is still trying to make sense of.
Rather than focusing on pathology or problem-solving, the work builds on your innate resilience and inner resource - gently interrupting patterns rooted in stress and survival, and drawing attention back towards ease and aliveness.
We begin from the belief that you are already creative, resourceful and whole. There is nothing to fix. There is only more of you to come home to.
Inside a session
My 1:1 coaching work is organic and entirely responsive to you - to what you bring, to what emerges, and to what becomes possible when you’re genuinely supported to stay with yourself through the waves of life.
A session might begin with words, or it might begin with something quieter - a gesture, an image, a felt sense we follow together. We might work with movement, with metaphor, with the space around you.
We might make something visible that has been living below the surface, or find a new possibility for something that’s felt stuck and immovable. Sometimes what arrives is surprising. Sometimes it’s exactly what you knew but hadn’t yet let yourself believe.
A season of support
This kind of work lends itself to a season. Long enough to settle in, to track what shifts, to meet yourself at different edges and notice what stays. Long enough for something to genuinely move - not through force or hurry, but because there was enough time and steadiness to allow it.
For this reason, I work primarily in three-month containers. A whole season to arrive, deepen, and begin to carry what’s uncovered forward into your life.
The three-month container is the heart of this work. A fully supported journey - held not only through our in-person sessions, but everything in between.

-
We begin with a free 30-minute conversation - a chance to feel into whether this is the right fit. You can share what's bringing you here, ask anything you need to know, and get a sense of how I work. And I get to learn a little about you. No obligation, no pressure - just an honest conversation to find out if we're meant to work together.
-
Before we meet for our first session you'll receive a questionnaire - a chance to put into words what's alive for you and what you're hoping this season might open. It helps us both arrive well-oriented and ready to begin.
-
We begin with a slightly longer session - 90 minutes to settle in, find the thread, and start to feel what this work is asking for. You can think of this as setting our compass direction for the journey ahead.
-
We meet fortnightly throughout the three months - each session is 60 minutes. Our time together is directed by what's emerging for you in the moment, following the arc of your process as it unfolds. We follow the pace of the body, and the work deepens on a timeline that supports your integration..
-
This is the part clients love most. The work doesn't stop when the call ends - you have access to me on Voxer throughout the three months. I’m here for voice notes, reflections, moments when something surfaces and you need to think aloud with someone steadily in your corner. This continuous thread of support is what makes the container feel genuinely held rather than a series of isolated sessions.
Where it feels useful, I'll also draw on a library of somatic practices and resources, tailoring specific practices to your process as we go - things to return to between sessions, to deepen what's unfolding, or to support you on the harder days. -
Our last session is 90 minutes and is held with intention - a chance to consolidate what's shifted, name what you're taking forward, and close the container with care. An ending that honours the ground covered.
And if this season has opened something you want to continue, we can talk about what another three months might hold.
-
This work doesn't ask you to arrive already knowing how to be with yourself. It doesn't ask for courage you haven't yet found, or a relationship with your body that feels easy and familiar. What it asks for is simpler than that: a genuine willingness to turn towards yourself, even a little. A curiosity about what might be possible. And a readiness to be supported as you find your way there - at your own pace, in your own time.
The Immersion
Not sure if three months feels like the right next step right now?
The Immersion is a single 90-minute session - Time to clear some ground for the question that keeps pulling at you and ignite the wisdom your body holds.
“For a long time I felt mired, stuck... something needed to change but no amount of pushing or prodding was working. Coaching with Sara changed everything... but not in the way I expected. It was in fact gentleness, the opposite of pushing, that started to shift things. Sara deeply, truly embodies her work. The whole process felt like being deeply held. We don't get this much in our modern, fast-paced world but I think we all need it. I know I certainly did and working with Sara has made all the difference. The future now looks filled with possibility and I trust myself to handle what comes.”

You don't have to do this alone
Something I've come to know - in my own life, and in this work - is that we can’t skip past the challenging parts and we can’t magic away what’s felt painful. But we can grow around these moments.
There’s possibility on the other side of the hardest things. Through attuned support and kindness, we can learn to soften. We can heal, slowly and steadily, as coral grows in the ocean. We can find our way back to trusting ourselves, without forcing, bypassing or pushing past the reality of what's true.
This is why I do what I do. Not to offer the answers, but to be alongside you as you find your own. To help you locate the anchor of your body when the ground feels unsteady. To gently remind you - again and again - that support and connection are here, even when they feel far away.
If something on this page has stirred something in you, I'd love to hear from you.
